I call it just sesame delici (Susamli guzeller), it's very easy to make.
It might be not that healthy, but don't be so harsh on yourself !
I used French pastry, sucuk (turkish sausage very delicious!), sesame, eggs and parmesan.
The instruction with pictures will come soon!

Bu Susamli guzeller'in yapilisi cok kolay! Herkes yapabilir :]
Fotografli tarifi yakinda ekliyecegim insallah!

I AM

I would like to introduce mylsef!

I'm Gizem, 17 years old, born and raised in Holland, Turkish/Bosnian mixed.

I love to draw, cook, sew clothes, actually everything that's detailed and I'm able to do with my hands :]

I have a chronic desease, Eczema and asthma, sinds I was a few months old I guess. I was in a really bad situation when I was young. It was all over my body. When it was itchy, I scratched all over my body and my skin used to stick onto my clothes. Imagine how painful it was to take of my clothes even though we softened it with water. It's all better now, you barely see it on my body. It's only visible ony my hands now, yet the itch is not gone, and I still use ointment on my body.

My parents tried literally EVERYTHING, but it's a desease that NEVER goes away, once you have it, deal with it.

The only thing you could do is make it less worse. I would like to close the subject here, because it's really a looooong story. If anybody would like to share there experience with me, I would love to pay attention! If you have any questions, I would love to try to help you out! :]

When I'm done with high school I'm going to study Fashion&Design in Den Bosch, I think it's a education that fits me well based on my hand skills.

Any questions? Please feel free to ask~! :)

Realistic eye drawing

These Eyes I made were for a project "Motion'' at school. The eyes slowly close and then open and looking straight in the light.
My teacher was so excited about it, she hung it up on the wall of our school!

This is what I drew for a friend she had a project at school aswell. :]

Burak Ozcivit Draw

Here are my realistic drawings from Burak Ozcivit, a Turkish actor/model

Bulgur, Couscous

Couscous,

It's very easy to prepare and it's easy to combine with everything!
Couscous is not a grain, many people might think it's a grain, despite popular belief, it's not. Actually it's pasta. It's made of semolina and wheat flour that is steamed.

It's easy to prepare:

  • Bring the water to a boil.
  • Use 1.5 cups of water per cup of couscous. (that's good for both regular and whole wheat)
  • Dump the water on the couscous, cover it up.
  • Let it suck up the water for like 5-10 minutes.
  • Fluff the couscous up with a fork.
For taste add:

  • salt
  • 1-2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1-2 teaspoon butter
  • blackpepper
  • or instead of water use vegetables broth

Bulgur,

It might be look a lot like the Couscous, yet it's not the same. It is sold in many different sizes, the middle-smallest size is used for dishes such as Kisir. The bigger ones are used for it's rised-like cooked dishes, Bulgur pilavi (Big size bulgur with vegetables and chicken or meat cooked the same way as pilav)

Bulgur is a cereal food made from the groats of several different wheat species. I cook bulgur really a lot! But the thing is, I don't use cups or anything to measure it, make as much as I think it's enough, AND BELIEVE ME IT'S ALWAYS A SUCCES. For the next time I will make at least photo's of the measurements!

It's also really easy to prepare:

Middle/small size:

  • 1 waterglass of 200-250 ml is enough for 1 person.
  • Put it in a deep but big plate.
  • Pour in the boiled water, the water needs to be 1 finger above the bulgur.
  • Cover it up QUICKLY!
  • Let it suck up the water for about 5-10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile you could slice up vegetables or anything.
To add flavour:

  • Add salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon mayonaise
  • 1 dessertspoon butter
  • blackpepper

Large size (1 person):

  • 1 waterglass (200-250 ml) bulgur
  • 1 boiled waterglass
Let it boil together for 15 minutes more or less.

All of the recipes are for BASIC use, in the future I'll add also more recipes!

Fresh, healthy, fashion?

This blog is all about nice, delicious and easy food! BUT probably not all the time.
I would like to share also my fashion designs or maybe my other projects either.

I love to cook. That's obvious but to cook with the things you have at home, and not be able to go to the grocery store and buy everything you need, to deal with whatever you have in your fridge, makes you creative as hell!

With a little bit of a logic and a pinch of creativity, you can make EVERYTHING Goddamn taste awasome!

Besides cooking I also love to draw human faces, realistic drawings. I don't have many projects yet but I JUST started and I know I'll gain experience by time.

I'm going to study Fashion & Design after I graduate from high school.
